Help a student build something that matters.

A few hours from the right person can turn a weekend project into something real.

Four ways to help

Mentors

Doctors, nurses, researchers, engineers and designers

Help teams get unstuck, check their science and sharpen their ideas. Stay for a few hours or the whole event. Some mentors keep working with a team for three months after.

Judges

Clinicians, founders and engineers

Spend day two at the expo and finals. We send a short rubric and a calibration session ahead of time.

Volunteers

College students and adults

Run check-in, food, the help desk and the stage. Adults working with students pass a background check.

School ambassadors

High school students

Bring VivaHacks to your school and clubs. You get a guaranteed spot, an ambassador hoodie and a real title.

Companies and organizations

Fund the event, give AI credits, adopt a part of the body, or bring a real problem for students to solve.
